İbrahim is the Founding Partner of Deca Ventures. Before founding Deca, İbrahim played a key role in organizing over 1,000 Turkish technology companies focused on the defense industry and national systems. He also provided strategic mentorship to high-growth Turkish startups and served as an in-house strategy consultant for ASELSAN, Turkey’s leading technology developer.
İbrahim received a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from Erciyes University and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Gebze Institute of Technology. His extensive regional experience spans Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Czechia, covering the Technology, Defense, and Healthtech sectors.
Umut is the Founding Partner of Deca Ventures. Prior to Deca, Umut was instrumental in positioning a Turkish seed-stage Fintech startup for major Qatari investments, supporting the growth of the largest Turkish Edtech player. He also collaborated with a global Private Equity firm on commercial due diligence across Turkish startups and led digital transformation initiatives for Türkiye’s leading technology service provider. Additionally, he guided corporations in building their own digital ecosystems.
Umut holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University and an M.S. in Engineering and Technology Management from Boğaziçi University. His background spans Türkiye, the United States, and the MENA region, with expertise in Private Equity, Fintech, and Edtech.
